Are you interested in becoming more active within Duo Duo Project? Our Ambassador Program gives you the opportunity to put your love for dogs and cats into action to help create a safer and more compassionate world for animals and humans.
Your valuable contributions as an ambassador will help elevate and accelerate our mission to end the dog and cat meat trade in China through Duo Duo Project’s education, animal care, and animal welfare advocacy programs.
Which of our ambassador levels is right for you?
Level One: Promotion Ambassador
Our Promotion Ambassadors are animal lovers who are willing to utilize their unique voices, creativity, and networks to amplify Duo Duo Project’s mission and campaign messaging to help end the dog and cat meat trade in China. With every post, share, and comment, they catalyze a ripple effect of awareness that stretches far and wide, fosters compassion, and helps galvanize online communities into action.
Promotion Ambassadors express their commitment in the following ways:
Learn about Duo Duo Project’s mission by reading our Yulin eBook and Q&A info sheet
Share Duo Duo Project’s Yulin eBook with your personal network of friends, family, and colleagues
Share and engage with Duo Duo Project’s social media messaging around regular and priority news, action alerts, events, and campaign promotions – priority post alerts, key points, hashtags, and occasional banners/graphics will be provided
Read email updates to keep up with Duo Duo Project’s work on the ground in China
Set up workplace giving at your company and encourage people in your network to do the same
Level Two: Gold Star Ambassador
Our Gold Star Ambassadors are passionate protectors of dogs and cats and are willing to utilize their advocacy savvy, skill, and influence to help Duo Duo Project in the fight to end the dog and cat meat trade in China. Their efforts to champion compassion and rally support make them conduits of transformation. Our Gold Star Ambassadors are a driving force behind our mission as they help us navigate the course of change toward a world that values, protects, and cares for our four-legged friends.
Gold Star Ambassadors express their commitment in the following ways:
Advocate for Duo Duo Project’s mission to personal and business networks via social media, email, and in-person outreach. Duo Duo Project provides a Yulin e-booklet, a Q&A info sheet, and an action items tip sheet
Periodically set up and run info tables at libraries, dog parks, pet-friendly businesses, pet-centric community events, etc.
Set up workplace giving at your company and encourage people in your network to do the same
Donate to support and strengthen the mission – please consider becoming a monthly grassroots sustaining donor for only $25 per month/$300 per year, for less than a dollar a day you can provide the financial support we need to end the dog and cat meat trade for good
Promotion Ambassadors and Gold Star Ambassadors will receive:

Proud Duo Duo Project Ambassador badge/graphic (for social media, email signatures, website, etc.)
Gold Star Ambassadors exclusives:
Gold Star Ambassadors who wish to take on special advocacy projects or host fundraising events are invited to present ideas for consideration at quarterly meetings with our Duo Duo Project Director of Development and Campaigns, Christy Griffin
Gold Star Ambassadors are invited to join a bi-annual briefing to connect and share with fellow animal advocates and receive a personal update from our Duo Duo Project Founder and Executive Director, Andrea Gung
Gold Star Ambassadors will receive inside news, updates, and special event invitations via our Very Important Dog Person (VIDP) emails
As an ambassador, you are an integral part of a movement that saves dogs and cats, ends the horrific dog and cat meat trade, and creates a more compassionate world.
